Step 3: Revitalize Your Spirit
Our daily
demands through work and family
necessitate that we react and
respond to the needs of others.
The journey to integral wellness
is a time to gain a better sense
of self by taking the time
to honor yourself. Anything you
can do to bring about and
sustain a more positive frame of
mind and experience the natural
'flow' of your life will
revitalize your spirit.
Children
come by this naturally as they
live in the present moment of
awe and wonder at everything
they encounter because they take
the time to consider it
mindfully. Mindfulness is the
act of being acutely aware of
the moment without wondering or
being distracted. Children are
interested in just about
everything because it is so new
and fresh to them, their spirit
is awakened by the very act of
waken up each day to see what
new adventures it will bring.
As adults we
become set in our ways, a
routine is established and
negative feelings set in and zap
us of our energy and sense of
adventure. Life becomes dull and grey, a burden
that causes your
spirit within you to fall asleep.
Its a
journey not a destination
Here are a few
ways to awaken the spirit within
you.

Hindus call prana.

Step 4: Revamp Your Diet
We are a culture of extremes and
our diets are no exception. Many
people are either "on" a healthy
eating program, doing everything
right and going to the gym
faithfully, or they're living on
coffee and fast food. But there
is an in-between. 5 Ways to
Revamp Your Diet
Step
5:
Pamper your skin
As the largest organ, and the
first level of protection for
your body, your skin requires
special attention. It absorbs
everything you put on it, so it
pays to use natural skin care
products according to your skin
type. The best thing you can do
for your skin is a whole-body
oil massage in the morning
before you shower. The ayurvedic
massage not only tones the skin,
but improves circulation and
helps flush out toxins from the
physiology. To prevent the aging
effects of the sun on your skin,
do not expose your skin to
strong sunlight. Favor exposure
to the early morning or late
evening sun only.
